What is worse than a rainy Monday?

This blog. Well, that was until I went shopping and found something to talk about. I love a good lipstick, especially ones that are long wearing. These are the newest drugstore editions of that sort. From Revlon I got their Colorstay Ultimate Suede lipstick in "It Girl" and in "Trendsetter." From Maybelline I got their Superstay 14 hr lipstick in "Enduring Ruby." I was a bit disappointed in the Revlon ones because the color pay off was not as pigmented as I was hoping. The Maybelline lipstick was far more pigmented and moisturizing, but also lasted longer than the Revlon ones.So the winner for the newest long-wear lipstick goes to Maybelline. I'm going to purchase more of their long-wear collection soon. As for Revlon lipsticks go, I'll stick to their original lipsticks which are far better pigmented and cheaper.  

 Here is a picture of "It Girl" on a model. Mine was no where near that bright or pigmented. Any suggestions on how to make the color payoff more like this picture shown? Also, let me know if want to see swatches of these colors on the lips.
